Individual. The individual person who is becoming a self-advocate is the most important part of People First! He or she can learn to self advocate through a support group.

Local Chapter. Members can learn, practice and put self-advocacy into action by attending their local People First chapter!

Regional Meetings. Where local chapters come together to share ideas, information and put self-advocacy into action for their region!

State Convention. All People First Self-Advocates come together in June to learn from peer workshops, have regional lunches, meet with their rep, hear keynote leaders of PF and speak with ONE voice as People First to the legislators in Sacramento.

National & International Conferences. Nationals are held every two years while Internationals are 4-8 years. California hosted the 2004 National in Anaheim, CA with over 1,450 self-advocates from the entire national attending.
